About
Oscar Darmawan is an Indonesian-American filmmaker who is proudly from and based in New York City. He is currently pursuing his B.F.A. in Film & TV at NYU’s Tisch School Of The Arts.
His main concentrations are cinematography and directing where he is driven to tell bold narratives about cultural and social issues through visual storytelling. He has extensive on-set experience in both the camera and lighting departments and is open to work in narrative, event coverage, and commercial work.
When he’s not busy at work, you can probably find him watching a Knicks or Mets game, adding another restaurant to his Beli list, or probably screaming at his computer that he should’ve won that gunfight in a video game.
