Oscar Darmawan is an Indonesian-American filmmaker and cinematographer who is from Queens, NY. He is currently pursuing his B.F.A. in Film & TV at NYU’s Tisch School Of The Arts.
He aims to share stories of the diversity he grew up with, and is drawn to narratives about cultural and social issues with an emphasis on visual storytelling.
He has extensive on-set experience in both the camera and lighting departments and is open to work in narrative, event coverage, and commercial work. He most recently was commissioned by Jaeki Cho to shoot an interview between Jaeki and Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
Some of his clients include: Righteous Eats, Mayday Health, Jaeki Cho, and Flight Club.
